Statia de emisie-receptie sau cum mai poarta numele de transceiver , conceputa de catre compania chineza Baofeng este o statie utila pentru pasionatii de radio si radioamatorism , deoarece functioneaza special pentru a emite si receptiona semnale in benzile dedicate radioamatorilor , mai exact VHF (136-174 MHz) si UHF (400 - 520 MHz) , si totodata dispune si de banda FM (65 - 108 MHz).

The transceiver station designed by the Chinese company Baofeng is a useful station for radio and amateur radio enthusiasts, because it works especially to transmit and receive signals in the bands dedicated to amateur radio, namely VHF (136-174 MHz) and UHF (400 - 520 MHz), and also has FM band (65 - 108 MHz).

Beneficiile unei statii portabile (The benefits of a portable transceiver)
Ca si beneficii ale acestei statii putem enumera urmatoarele :
- este slim (adica nu este nevoie sa cari dupa tine ditamai aparatura pentru o receptie DX in FM sau VHF/UHF)
- selectivitate si sensibilitate buna (din ce am testat in toate benziile pe care le poate receptiona acesta - FM relativ sub 2uV)

- it's slim (meaning you don't have to carry all the equipment for a DX reception in FM or VHF / UHF)
- good selectivity and sensitivity (from what I tested in all the bands it can receive - FM relatively below 2uV)

Dezavantaje (Disadvantage)
Unul dintre dezavantajele acestui transceiver este ca pentru o receptie mai buna nu este indeajuns sa folosesti doar antena stock care vine ca acesta in pachet. Un alt dezavantaj mai este reprezentat de dusmanii acestor receptoare bazate pe DSP (digital signal processor) , acela fiind bruiajele (fie de la instalatia electrica veche , fie de la emitatoarele de putere mare ce se afla in apropierea zonei receptiei - din experienta mea am intalnit un caz in care nu puteam asculta in FM in zona orasului Iasi , deoarece eram la 8 km de un emitator de 100kW , acela fiind pe Dealul Bucium - renumitul TX Pietrarie) de aceea e nevoie sa realizezi receptia la o distanta considerabila de mare fata de vreun emitator de putere mare , de preferat undeva la tara.

One of the disadvantages of this transceiver is that for better reception it is not enough to use only the stock antenna that comes like this in the package. Another disadvantage is represented by the enemies of these receivers based on DSP (digital signal processor), that being the interruptions either from the old electrical installation or from the high power transmitters that are near the reception area - from my experience I met a case in which I could not listen to FM in the area of Iasi, because I was 8 km from a 100kW transmitter, that being on Bucium Hill - the famous TX Pietrarie) so you need to make the reception at a considerable distance from a high power transmitter, preferably somewhere in the country.

Poate cea mai ieftina antena dedicata transceiverelor Baofeng , antena Nagoya NA-771 am achizitionat-o gratis de pe Aliexpress (datorita New User Coupon) , insa acesta costa in jur de 5 - 6 € , in Romania ajungand si la 100 de lei (vezi Emag).
Aceasta antena ofera 2dB castig in VHF si FM si 3dB castig in UHF, iar ca diferenta fata de antena stock este una mare. Chiar am facut si o comparatie in FM cu portabilul meu Carrfeour POR334 cu telescop de 90cm iar ca receptie a reusit sa-l intreaca pe acesta , mai jos aveti o demonstratie cu statia Baofeng si antena Nagoya in banda FM , intr-o dxpeditie la Breazu , la marginea orasului Iasi din Romania.

Maybe the cheapest antenna dedicated to Baofeng transceivers, Nagoya NA-771 antenna I bought it for free from Aliexpress (thanks to New User Coupon), but it costs around 5 - 6 €, in Romania reaching 100 lei (see Emag).
This antenna offers 2dB gain in VHF and FM and 3dB gain in UHF, and the difference from the stock antenna is a big one. I even made a comparison on FM with my Carrfeour POR334 portable with a 90cm telescope and as a reception he managed to surpass it, below you have a demonstration with Baofeng station and Nagoya antenna in FM band, in a dxpedition to Breazu , on the outskirts of Iasi in Romania.
